Today at the California Legislature in Sacramento was California Legislative Advocacy Day. It was also the day that AB2260 went before the Assembly Judiciary Committee. There after an introduction by bill sponsor Freddie Rodriguez (52nd District), Dr Amy Liepert, UC San Diego Trauma Surgeon, and Dr Thomas Duncan, Ventura County Medical Center Trauma Surgeon, gave testimony shown in the video. The Judiciary Committee voted unanimously to approve, and AB-2260 now heads to the Appropriations committee for a critical vote.
